Conor Fleck’s Biography
Conor was born in Belfast in 1969. Educated at Campbell College and the Art College (York Street), he went on to study music at Colchester Instititue, after which he returned to Belfast to pursue a career in painting.
His first exhibited work was in the R.U.A show at the Ulster Museum (1996). He has been involved in collective shows both in Belfast and New York.
His work shows a sensitivity to traditional values in painting. His choice of colours, although subdued in many works, allow the viewer to appreciate a more subtle approach. His line is charged with his own personal experience and can create works of quiet beauty.
