David Jess’s Biography
David Jess was born in Lurgan in 1947 and has been painting professionally since 1995. His studio is in rural County Armagh near the village of Loughgall. David's use of colour, combined with the sweep and curve of the Irish countryside, evokes a feeling of rhythm and vibrant life making his work very popular in Ireland and further afield. His more muted, informal still life work offers a tranquil contrast to his landscapes.
