Rob Hendry’s Biography
Rob Hendry was born in Liverpool in 1952, and it was whilst at college there in the 1970's that he first became interested in painting.
He works generally in watercolour, oils or pastel - often combining traditional techniques with those of a more experimental and less conventional nature, to produce workin his own distinctive style.
Rob has a great affinity for the enviroment - he observes closely the way in which natural lighting situatins, the elements and the changes of season, all affect the atmosphere, moods and the textures of the landscape - he then attempts to communicate these moods and feelings through his paintings. he often links what he observes in nature with music, and many of his enviromental interpretations have been initiated in this way.
Rob has held many one-man exhibitions throughout the country.
