Robert Egginton’s Biography Born 1943

Robert Egginton was born in Devon in 1943. He has been a full-time artist since leaving Art College and is from a family of painters. He followed in the tradition of his grandfather, Wycliffe Egginton (1875-1951) and his uncle, Frank Egginton (1908-1990).

Robert paints in oils and watercolours and always works out of doors to maximise the atmosphere of the subject.

He lives in the Highlands of Scotland and comes to Ireland in the spring and autumn. He has had one-man exhibitions in Dublin, Belfast, Scotland, Europe and the USA.
