William White’s Biography

1990


Glasgow School of art, 1st class BA-hons in product design.


1994


Co-founded One Foot Taller, a Design Consultancy based in Glasgow, designing award winning furniture and lighting for retail, as well as designing interiors of bars and clubs in Glasgow.


2000 - 2011


Dyson limited. Started as engineer and now Head of New Product Innovation.


Both at Glasgow School of Art and Dyson, I have lectured and taught drawing to students and colleagues. In addition I have lectured Design to students in Glasgow, New York and Stuttgart.


During my ten years with Dyson in Wiltshire I have studied part time courses in jewellery making and printmaking at Bath City College.
